Was sponsored by Jerry Conn and was held at Wing Park golf course.
What’s it all about?”
Was sponsored by David Johnston on Saturday morning from 10 to 12 at the Elgin Township to discuss “What’s it all about?” In other words, no formal agenda, just some good, candid conversation to mark our passage to being more or less 78 years old.
Sunday 9/18
Buffet and Celebration
Where: Eagles, 325 Raymond Dr, Gilberts, IL
Time: 1-4pm
Lunch: Choice of beef or chicken skewers, rice pilaf, oven roasted Greek potatoes, Greek salad, pita bread, hummus, tzatziki (creamy yogurt cucumber sauce), beverage and dessert.
Dress Code: Dressy Casual
Cost: $35/classmate only. $60/classmate and guest.
It seems everyone had a good time. I saw many smiles and happy faces. We have all gotten older but are still above ground. Almost everyone had some health event during these last 5 years to talk about.
