40th Anniversary Celebration - 2002

Fellow Classmates

Yes, it has been forty years since graduation. Our 35th was so great the Reunion Committee couldn't wait to plan the 40th Ruby's Cafe - ruby is for the 40th anniversary.

We are looking out the window to life on the street. Sadly so many classmates have passed. We should cherish the precious days and live them to the fullest.

It would be so cool to have a greater participation, but this is only a dream. Plan as we may at the last minute another obligation arises. Unfortunately more than a few have monsters under their heels and feel no one could care if they come. Not true, we'd like to see everyone.

We choose Rolling Knolls because of it's relaxed atmosphere and excellent chef Gene Toft. The dress is casual for the best of times.

Lois Bradley Coombs' enthusiasm for "the book" grew as the time drew near. She has done her best to keep track of you all and gladly will record changes. A special thanks to Sharon Windau Saville who gave much time and effort in gathering names and addresses off classmates.com.

Gay Whitcomb Hannell will use her best abilities to decorate the reunion. Joy Thurnau Jensen arranged for all the printing. Carol Watts Tobin took time out from garage sale-ing to arrange for the picnic - always mindful of cost.

Kurt Kasules and Nicki Metzger Yagunic helped coordinate the mailing and of course Marilyn Kasules drew the design for our tickets and book.

EHS 62 favorite artist did the water color for this years favor. We are so grateful to Dean Willis for not only doing the drawing but handling its printing and ordering of materials.

Once again it is our pleasure to organize this great event.
